Adam was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. He graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Arts degree before earning his Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law. While in law school, Adam’s empathy and ability to connect with his clients was already evident as he won both a National and International competition in Client Counseling.

Since 2011, Adam has been in private practice handling matters in personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation, construction injuries and disputes and insurance bad faith litigation. Prior to joining Mueller Schmidt Mulholland & Cooling, Adam practiced with an insurance defense law firm where he was a Partner representing large National insurance companies and employers. During his time on the defense side, Adam was known as a fierce advocate for his clients and an extraordinary trial attorney. However, after many years representing those on the defense side, Adam decided it was time to use his talents to help injured Nebraskans rather than oppose them.

Adam’s time on the defense side separates him for his peers as he has unique insight into how the defense may view and attempt to attack cases, allowing him to better serve his clients. Adam’s experience in the court room and sterling trial record also standout as opposing attorneys know Adam will not back down from taking a case to trial – where he has obtained exceptional results for his clients.

Outside of the office Adam enjoys spending time with his family and two young children. He enjoys golfing, running, hiking and biking. Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska means Adam is and always will be a lifelong Nebraska Cornhusker fan as well as a Green Bay Packer fan. He is a member of the Iowa and Nebraska State Bar Associations, Polk County Bar Association, and the Iowa Association for Justice. He is licensed in Nebraska and Iowa as well the Federal Courts for both Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa.
